Communities Demand Chevron Stop Fueling Climate Chaos
On the morning of December 7, the first day of the UNFCCC negotiations in Copenhagen, protesters urged Chevron to support equitable, science-based targets and solutions on international climate change. They called on the company to stop supporting campaigns that oppose national climate change legislation and stop expanding into heavier sources of crude oil. Nearly 30 demonstrators were arrested working to hold Chevron accountable.
